to the Superskank Ska Band website.
SuperSkank Split! Sadly we have decided to call it a day. Superskank are no more! After searching for new members to no avail we have decided it would be best to put Superskank on hold. We will not be playing any more gigs. This doesn't mean we will disappear for ever. Take a look at some of the most famous ska bands. Bad Manners form and reform and continue to tour the world. Even The Beat and The Selector are still playing in one guise or another. Hugo our Sax and Keyboard player is now living in Shanghai, China and has unfortunately had to leave the band. Hugo's last gig with us was in September 2003 when we played in Bodmin with The Beat. I think that was our last gig aside from one or two local slots. Rob Downes our vocalist also played his last gig with us that night in Bodmin. He has moved onwards and upwards with his Drum n Bass/Reggae outfit known as the NO SET SOUND SYSTEM. If You spot their posters go and support them. They put on a really good night with a mix of their own original D n B and Reggae tunes and some cool mixed up deeep and dirty DJ licks. The site will now concentrate on bringing you breaking Ska news and reviews.
